Medior UX/UI Designer

Radikal is seeking a Medior Digital (Web)Designer with a passion for e-commerce and a knack for driving creative excellence. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our design direction, with responsibilities that go beyond execution. 

As a Digital Designer at Radikal, you will lead the charge in creating visually stunning, user-centric Shopify stores, predominantly for clients in the sports, fashion, and skincare industries. Your role will also extend to occasional UX and app layout projects, allowing you to showcase a broad range of design skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all designs meet client objectives and maintain a high standard of creativity and usability.
• Collaborate with the team and clients during discovery workshops to define project goals, user needs, and design solutions.
• Take ownership of presenting and defending your designs to clients, ensuring they align with brand aesthetics and project requirements.
• Innovate and push creative boundaries, developing concepts that resonate with target audiences and elevate our clients’ digital presence.
• Work primarily in Figma while leveraging complementary tools like Photoshop and Illustrator as needed.

Requirements:

• E-commerce Expertise: Extensive experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
• Strong Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design exceptional web and mobile experiences, with a focus on e-commerce.
• Leadership Skills: Experience leading design projects, mentoring junior designers, or taking initiative in driving creative direction.
• Client Interaction: Confidence in leading and facilitating design discussions, workshops, and presentations with clients.
• Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to a growing design team.
• Adaptability: You can seamlessly transition between different design styles and project types, always keeping the user experience top of mind.
• Conceptual Thinker: You think beyond the obvious and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Bonus Points:

• Motion design and animation skills.
• AI or 3D design experience.
• Knowledge of print design, marketing or social media design.
• A talent for illustration or photography.
• A strong karaoke skillset
